What are the benefits of being a member of POOBI?

Help us to help you.

The Post Office Orphans Benevolent Institution (POOBI) was founded in 1870 by a group of London Post Office Employees. These days we are a nationally based organisation supporting employees in Royal Mail and the Post Office.

Through our Regular Grants we can offer financial assistance to families affected by illness and other crisis which may deprive their children of adequate support.

Also we support children in education such as helping them with university costs, special educational needs and also those who may be talented in music, the arts and sport.
